August 10 at 15:00 Moscow time, the first lesson on artistic embroidery. At the lesson the audience got acquainted with the basic terms that are indicated in the theory of embroidery. We learned how to properly organize a workplace, about fabrics and their properties, threads and materials for hand embroidery. Received recommendations on the design of embroidered products. Also, students were shown a table of matching embroidery needles and processed materials, which I promised to send to everyone who was in my class.

Then, ahead of the lesson plan, students got acquainted with the types of stitches and stitches. We disassembled the theory of transferring a picture to fabric, and I demonstrated the transfer of a pattern to fabric through carbon paper.

At the next lesson, which will take place on August 17 at 15:00 Moscow time, we will fix the topic “Transferring the pattern to fabric” and move on to the next topic “Filing and processing of the product edge”.
