Looped seam is a series of isolated loops, which can be arranged in any order. According to the technique of execution, it is close to the chain stitch.
Technique performance.
In order to make a loop, fasten the thread on the wrong side and bring it to the front side, throw it down, hold it down with your thumb, then insert the needle next to the thread fixing, directing it with the tip down. And depending on the size of the loop, I collect a piece of fabric on a needle, pull the needle to the front side. After that, with a small drawn stitch I fasten the resulting loop on the surface of the fabric. If you combine several stitches with a stitch in one pattern, you can get a free-stitch embroidery.
