Many famous people lived in our region. But, I would like to talk about a person who lives in the present. This man is Andrei Olegovich Belyanin. I have been fond of his work since childhood. When I wanted to know about his life, I found out that he is an Astrakhan, our countryman.

Andrei O. Belyanin - Russian writer and poet - one of the most popular and popular writers of modern science fiction, the star of the first magnitude on the horizon of humorous prose, a worthy successor to the traditions of the great classics of the genre - Gogol and Bulgakov. Fascinating scenes and brilliant humor of his works make them accessible and desirable for a wide range of readers. In the books of Andrei Belyanin everyone will find something of their own, cherished; and I want to read and reread again and again.

Born on January 24, 1967 in the city of Astrakhan. After eight years of school he entered the Astrakhan Art College named. Vlasov on the picturesque and pedagogical department. At the end of the fourth year, he began practicing poetry professionally, which is why he almost finished his diploma.

He served two years on the border with Turkey as part of the Novorossiysk frontier detachment. One of the few who is proud of his epaulets and does not consider this time lost. In 1994 he was accepted into the Writers' Union of Russia, he had three collections of poems and fairy tales "Red and Striped", "Order of the Porcelain Knights" in his hands, having managed to pass through two seminars in prose and poetry. In 1995, after the publication of these things in the magazine "Youth", the publishing house "ARMADA" sent a letter with a proposal for cooperation.

At that moment, the “samizdat” version of Jack was written and released ... The publisher liked the book and the author concluded his first contract. Further - more ... He worked as a teacher in the school, deputy. Chairman of the local branch of the Union of Writers of Russia, led the literary studio, produced newspapers, published poems novice poets. Recent years, lives exclusively on the writer's fees. At the end of 2001, he managed to write and publish nine novels and six short stories.

Twice winner of the diploma of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the creation of a "positive image of a police officer." According to the title of his novel, the Sword Without Name Prize was created for debut authors. Not a "rave" person, on conventions and science fiction sessions, practically does not occur. Perhaps because of literary titles, titles and awards to this day does not have ...

For a long time he was winding between Moscow and St. Petersburg, currently living and working in Astrakhan. Poetry writes still. Receives a lot of letters, trying to honestly respond to each. As a hobby, painting and ceramics remained, all of which are usually given away to friends. Fortunately, many of them ...

At the present time, he writes, as before, books and publishes his journal in Astrakhan, publishing in it works of new authors. By this, Andrei Olegovich helps young talents who are just starting to light up on the horizon ...

Oddly enough, Andrei Belyanin began publishing with ease. The magazine “Youth” after a meeting of young writers in Moscow - it was in the autumn of 1994 - published his fairy tale “Red and Striped”, and a month later a letter came from the publishing house “Armada” with a proposal for cooperation. Belyanin sent them the novel “Jack the Mad King” he had just written, which, as he was told, caused some perplexity in the editorial.

The book was rescued by Kir Bulychev. He very originally stood up for the “Mad King”, saying: “This is wrong, not traditional, not so, not as it should, and in general is impossible. Therefore, publish it urgently! ”The book was published in 1995, and was reprinted twice in the same year. That's how it all started ...

Andrei Belyanin believes that the most important thing in writing is respect for the reader. As the saying goes, “any genre has the right to exist, except the boring one”. It is not a shame to “break traditions”, it is a shame not to be interesting. So everyone decides the fate of his own success - either you are “not like everyone else”, and you are read, or you can get a lot of awards “for preserving the high traditions of classical fantasy”, but forget about the love of readers.

He passed two synopsis for the film adaptation, but so far he cannot say anything definite. The comic book “The Sword without a Name” by Alexander Aleshin repeatedly took prizes at various competitions, but has not yet been published, and it is not known when it will be released. The Moscow company “Buka” seems to have launched a computer game of the same name into the development, Belyanin even wrote a script for them. But then suddenly they closed the project, apologizing and naming some unintelligible reasons ...

It seems to me that with all the harshness of certain moments, the books of Andrei Olegovich are very good. Reading them causes absolutely no negative emotions, which in modern books are still, in my opinion, a rarity. Awesome style, awesome syllable! Books are read easily and in one breath. You come back to your favorite moments again and again. And after the last coup, the pages leave a feeling of light, warmth, lightness and a little sadness.

From these books blows warmth, kindness, humor, love and even the fact that it does not explain the words ... They want to reread immediately after reading ... Such an author and such books must be present in the history of Russia ...

It just so happened that the books of Andrei Olegovich were my first strong literary hobby. Or even love.

The books of Belyanin are remarkable ... first of all - the books save from the whole negative. Helps to survive difficult periods. Sate with optimism. In them everything is really childishly simple. Naively. Sense of humor is an indescribable best cure for everything in the world. The worlds are described, where there is always a place for a kind and witty person. Where there is sincere heroism. True friendship. Where everything is exactly as everyone probably subconsciously dreams.
